Job summary

SAIC is seeking an SCA Engineering Tech V to support mission-critical production and testing of Air C2 systems in Bedford, IN. The role requires strong leadership, background in tactical data links, and hands-on network and virtualization expertise.

The candidate will supervise production teams, coordinate with government customers, and develop documentation and training materials to ensure operational readiness across on-base and off-site facilities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Active secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• MOS background in 5974, 5979, 7236, or 7242.
• Experience with Link 16, VMF, MIL-STD standards.
• Network administration and troubleshooting with Cisco gear.
• VMware ESXi and Windows Server administration.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead production teams and coordinate with government personnel to align with mission objectives.
• Supervise daily production activities on base and off-site facilities to meet production goals.
• Develop and update production process documentation and training curricula.
• Provide technical support for design, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
• Manage Tactical Data Links (TDLs) including Link 16, VMF, and IBS.
• Create architectural diagrams and manage virtualized system environments.
• Serve as technical advisor to Marine Corps leadership during tests and operations.
• Train Marines in system operation, diagnostics, and maintenance.
