Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries – Mission Technologies in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for C4I/Tactical Data Link to support Navy LVC training and NSWC- Corona integrations. Qualifications

• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; or 0 with Masters; or HS diploma with 6 years.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot at system level with military and contractor leadership.
• Willing to work non-standard hours and 40+ hour weeks as needed.
• Experience with Link 16.
• Understanding of Modeling and Simulation Systems.
• Strong background in Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems.
• Technical leadership ability.
• Able to engage engineers across domains to resolve issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; U.S. Citizen; Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate NSWC TDL systems and perform maintenance as required.
• Interface with outside agencies to provide TDL connectivity between commands.
• Provide knowledge and expertise in operating TDL systems.
• Provide knowledge of Link 16 protocols and network architectures.
• Provide onsite and remote troubleshooting for TDL across NCTE Enterprise.
• Prepare reports and briefs as required.
