Job summary

Southeastern Computer Consultants, Inc. (SCCI) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a Weapon System Program in Dahlgren, VA. You will work with engineering design teams and end-users to design, integrate, and test tactical software prototypes and simulations on-site.

The role requires a BS in CS/CE or equivalent, 10+ years of C++ experience, and DoD-friendly experience with NGTS/AFSIM/ITASE. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/CE
• 10+ years in C++ software development
• Experience with NGTS/AFSIM/ITASE simulations
• Security clearance eligibility (Secret)
• Windows and Linux portability experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy C++ software for real-time apps
• Collaborate with engineers, management, and sponsors on requirements
• Contribute to system architecture and tactical software team
• Create and execute test cases; document results for improvement
• Collect and analyze system test data; provide reports
• Participate in project reviews
