Job summary

Huntington is looking for a Practice Finance Closing Specialist in Columbus, OH to provide administrative support to the Sales Team and drive business banking loan closings. You will coordinate closing steps, obtain collateral reports, and liaise with customers and vendors to ensure timely closings.

The role requires a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of loan processing/closing experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 1 year of loan processing/closing experience and/or real estate loan/title company experience.
• Experience with Business Banking/Commercial closing documentation preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Generate term sheets/commitment letters and communicate with customers.
• Order 3rd party reports and title work; track expenses and fees.
• Engage legal counsel for trusts, deed restrictions, and unique language.
• Coordinate closing with customers and markets; manage an active pipeline.
• Assist with monthly maturities and collateral exception resolutions.
• Ensure loan and collateral documentation complies with laws and procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the Business Banking Sales Team.
