Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Senior SBA Business Loan Closing Coordinator to process government-guaranteed loans in preparation for closing within expected service levels.

The role involves collecting collateral reports, handling UCC secured and various asset types, and ensuring compliance with SBA/USDA regulations. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of consumer/business loan doc prep, analysis, document review and/or quality review.
• Experience with SBA or other government guaranteed loan programs preferred.
• Paralegal Certificate and an Associate Degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Laser Pro or other software systems that generate commercial loan documentation.
• Experience with SBA and/or USDA documentation is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.
• Must have excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes; knowledge of HNB mainframe systems.

Responsibilities

• Obtains collateral reports and information required to meet credit approval and government agency requirements.
• Works with UCC secured, titled collateral, commercial real estate, construction, refinance and business acquisitions.
• Prepares documentation to close and document government guaranteed business loans.
• Ensures loans are closed, documented and disbursed in compliance with SBA/USDA regulations.
• Keeps abreast of laws and regulations affecting loan documentation; interprets policies and procedures.
• Monitors and directs monetary disbursements and participates in post-closing quality control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
