Job summary

Bridgewater Bank is seeking an experienced SBA Senior Credit Analyst in Saint Louis Park, MN. You will support lenders by evaluating the financial condition and eligibility of SBA loan applicants, coordinating with lenders, portfolio managers, and credit officers to drive sound lending decisions.

The role emphasizes thorough cash flow analysis, compliance with SBA SOPs, and maintaining portfolio quality. You will mentor junior analysts and contribute to complex underwriting for larger deals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with commercial credit analysis and underwriting for SBA lending programs
• Strong knowledge of SBA lending programs and commercial loan structures
• Superior analytical/reasoning skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit presentations for SBA lending decisions including cash flow analysis and loan performance histories
• Verify eligibility of borrowers, loan purposes, collateral and SBA programs
• Review and analyze loan requests, financial information, appraisals, and title insurance for larger deals
• Ensure compliance with SBA SOPs, program requirements and internal credit policies
• Maintain SBA guaranty integrity through accurate documentation and underwriting from loan approval to closing
• Collaborate with SBA Bankers and Portfolio Managers to manage client relationships and respond to requests
• Assign risk ratings to loan requests and prepare annual reviews
• Mentor other Credit Analysts and support loan structuring and pricing analyses
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and summaries on loan structure/pricing for lenders
• Conduct property inspections to verify accuracy
• Assist in special projects to manage lending risks
• Maintain knowledge of supporting software, compliance, and procedures related to the loan department
• Adhere to bank policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including BSA
