Job summary

Bridgewater Bank in Saint Louis Park, MN is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join our Credit team. You will evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for lending credit and support lenders through thorough analysis and informed recommendations.

Responsibilities include preparing credit presentations, cash flow analysis, reviewing loan requests, assigning risk ratings, and mentoring other analysts. Strong MS Office skills and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with C&I and/or Commercial Real Estate.
  • Superior analytical/reasoning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare credit presentations with cash flow analysis, forecasting, industry trends and loan histories.
  • Collect, review and analyze loan requests, financial information and appraisals for larger deals.
  • Assign risk ratings to support loan requests.
  • Prepare annual reviews of existing loan relationships.
  • Mentor other Credit Analysts and assist lenders with closings.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records for lending clients and accounts.
  • Identify historical trends of businesses or markets and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain knowledge of supporting software, compliance and procedures related to lending.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join our Credit team in St. Louis Park. The Senior Credit Analyst will provide support to the lenders by evaluating the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for lending credit with the bank.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare credit presentations to be used in the credit approval process including cash flow analysis, forecasting of future performance, industry trends, and loan performance histories
  • Collect, review and analyze loan requests, financial information, appraisals, title insurance, etc. for larger, more complex deals
  • Assign risk ratings to support loan requests
  • Prepare annual reviews of existing loan relationships
  • Assist lenders with closings
  • Mentor other Credit Analysts
  • Identify historical trends of businesses or markets
  • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, summaries and recommendations on loan structure/pricing for lenders
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure accuracy
  • Develop and maintain accurate records for lending clients and accounts
  • Assist loan and credit department managers with special projects for managing risks in the lending function
  • Maintain knowledge of all supporting software, compliance, and procedures as they relate to the loan department
  • Assist lenders in maintaining positive relationships with new and existing clients by providing timely feedback to client requests and questions
  • Adhere to the bank’s policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including (but not limited to) BSA.

Compensation & Benefits

The typical annual/hourly base pay range for this role is between $85,000 - $110,000. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
