Job summary

Oso Semiconductor is seeking a Technical Business Development Lead to drive design-wins for our mmWave beamforming chipsets. You will partner with Engineering and Operations to translate RFIC performance into system-level value, advancing opportunities from initial technical engagement to commercial commitment.

You will own the pipeline, cultivate strategic relationships across SATCOM ecosystems, and shape GTM strategies while traveling 30–50% to customer sites and industry events as needed.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent hands-on experience with 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Ownership of semiconductor or RF component design-ins through from first engagement to volume production.
• Working knowledge of phased array systems, link budgets, EIRP/G/T, beamforming, and SATCOM ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify design-in opportunities across SATCOM terminals (LEO/MEO/GEO).
• Lead architecture trade studies covering EIRP, G/T, and beamforming considerations.
• Coordinate evaluation kits, reference designs, and application notes to earn customer confidence.
• Own the design-in pipeline from lead to volume revenue and forecast status.
• Develop strategic partnerships with SATCOM ecosystem players and drive GTM strategy.
• Represent the company at industry events and support government funding proposals.
