Job summary

Lumicity is seeking a Technical Leader to drive growth in satellite communications and RF technology. You will work with customers and engineering teams to identify opportunities, support product adoption, and build long-term commercial relationships.

The role requires strong communication, a background in SATCOM/RF technologies, and willingness to travel to engage with customers and partners across the ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role supporting SATCOM, RF/mmWave, phased-array, or related semiconductor tech.
• Strong technical and commercial communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across satellite communications and related RF markets.
• Build relationships with equipment manufacturers, system developers, operators, integrators, and technology partners.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to understand technical requirements and identify suitable product solutions.
• Support customers throughout product evaluation, qualification, and adoption.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of strategic customer opportunities.
• Gather customer and market feedback to support product and commercial strategy.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and leadership on key customer programs.
• Represent the business at customer meetings and relevant industry events.

OVERVIEW:

My client is an innovative semiconductor company developing advanced RF technology for satellite and wireless communications applications. They are looking for a Technical Leader to help grow their presence within the satellite communications market. This position will work closely with customers and engineering teams to identify new opportunities, support product adoption, and develop long-term commercial relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop new business opportunities across satellite communications and related RF markets.
• Build relationships with equipment manufacturers, system developers, operators, integrators, and technology partners.
• Work closely with customer engineering teams to understand technical requirements and identify suitable product solutions.
• Support customers throughout product evaluation, qualification, and adoption.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of strategic customer opportunities.
• Gather customer and market feedback to support product and commercial strategy.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and leadership teams on key customer programs.
• Represent the business at customer meetings and relevant industry events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical role supporting SATCOM, RF/mmWave, phased-array, or related semiconductor technologies.
• Strong understanding of phased-array systems, beamforming, RF front ends, and satellite communications.
• Customer-facing experience in business development, applications engineering, technical sales, product management, or systems engineering.
• Experience supporting technical evaluations, design-ins, and customer programs.
• Strong technical and commercial communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• U.S Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
