Job summary

WCG is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial data analysis and regulatory submissions. You will lead programming efforts, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and mentor junior programmers.

Role requires strong SAS skills, 5+ years of experience, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position is remote (US) with travel up to 20% and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of SAS programming experience required.
• 2 years of macro programming experience required.
• 3+ years in pharmaceutical, vaccines, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Phase 1-4 clinical trials experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document SAS programs for SDTM/ADaM datasets and regulatory outputs.
• Lead programming activities and manage resources, timelines, and priorities.
• Perform quality control checks and peer code reviews on all deliverables.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to meet project requirements.
• Troubleshoot programming and data issues to ensure timely reporting.
• Coordinate multiple projects and drive process improvements.
