Job summary

WCG is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to develop, validate, and document SAS programs supporting clinical trial analyses and regulatory submissions. You will lead programming activities, ensure deliverables meet standards, and mentor junior programmers while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setup.

The role requires 5+ years of SAS experience, 2+ years of macro programming, and strong CDISC knowledge within the pharma/biotech space, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of SAS programming experience.
• 2 years of macro programming experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, vaccines, biotech, or medical device industry.
• In depth knowledge of CDISC requirements and SAP programming specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial datasets and outputs for regulatory submission.
• Lead programming activities and manage resources, timelines, and priorities.
• Conduct quality control checks and peer code reviews on all deliverables.
• Collaborate with statisticians and data managers to ensure requirements are met.
• Mentor junior programmers and implement best practices.
