Job summary

WCG seeks a Senior Statistical Programmer to develop and validate SAS programs for regulatory submissions. You will lead programming activities, manage timelines, and mentor junior staff across cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role requires CDISC SDTM/ADaM expertise, strong SAS and macro skills, and 5+ years in pharma/biotech settings. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in statistics, CS, mathematics, life sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years SAS programming experience.
• 2 years macro programming experience required.
• 3+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device industry.
• CDISC data standards experience (SDTM/ADaM).
• Strong knowledge of SAP programming specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial datasets and outputs for regulatory submissions.
• Lead programming activities, manage resources, timelines, and priorities.
• Perform QC checks and peer code reviews on all deliverables.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to ensure requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot data and programming issues; ensure accurate reporting.
• Coordinate multiple projects and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Mentor junior programmers on industry standards and best practices.
