Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks an experienced security professional to serve as Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) and Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) for DoD programs.

The role administers SAP/SCI security programs, train personnel, and ensure facility and information security compliance across directorate activities. You will guide security policy, manage NID/SOP/EAP documents, and coordinate with PEM and security teams to support sensitive programs while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum of 20 years of relevant DoD work experience.
• No less than three (3) years’ experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment within the last five (5) years.
• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and SAP access.
• Possess an MA/MS/ME degree (Master’s degree may be waiverable).
• Familiarity/experience with ICD 705

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct SAP/SCI security for assigned directorate programs and facilities.
• Develop and implement security policy and guidance for classified operations.
• Advise on personnel security policies and SAP/SCI access management.
• Prepare and safeguard classified materials and ensure secure transmission and handling.
• Oversee physical security, OPSEC, and training programs for SAP/SCI personnel.
• Open/close SCIFs and administer SCI security program under SSR oversight.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and program success.
