Job summary

Stryker is seeking an SAP Platform Manager to lead the strategy, lifecycle, and continuous improvement of the SAP technical platform. You will manage the platform roadmap, standards, upgrades, and vendor engagements to support enterprise capabilities and digital transformation.

This is a hybrid role requiring at least one in-office day per week and close collaboration with business process owners, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and MSPs to ensure reliable, scalable SAP services aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 8+ years of information technology experience.
• 7+ years of SAP technical platform, SAP Basis, or SAP infrastructure experience.
• Experience supporting at least two SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC implementations, migrations, upgrades, or major technical release events.
• 3+ years of experience managing SAP environments supporting more than 1,000 users.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the SAP technical platform roadmap, standards, upgrade paths, and technology priorities.
• Lead planning and oversight for SAP initiatives, upgrades, migrations, patches, and decommissioning.
• Align SAP platform capabilities with business, security, compliance, and technology requirements.
• Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and opportunities for modernization and automation.
• Oversee vendor, MSP, and consultant engagements and performance.
• Provide input for project landscapes, business cases, and investments.
• Drive governance, documentation, and continuous improvement across platform engineering and release planning.
• Communicate platform strategy and decisions to IT leadership and stakeholders.
• Coach and develop team members and partner resources.
