Job summary

Stryker is seeking an SAP Platform Manager to lead the strategy, lifecycle, and continuous improvement of the SAP technical platform. You will collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure reliable, scalable SAP services aligned with priorities.

This hybrid role requires weekly office presence and oversight of upgrades, migrations, and governance across SAP environments supporting large user bases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of information technology experience.
• 7+ years of SAP technical platform, SAP Basis, or SAP infrastructure experience.
• Experience supporting at least two SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC implementations, migrations, upgrades, or major technical release events.
• 3+ years of experience managing SAP environments supporting more than 1,000 users.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience leading SAP Basis administration or SAP platform operations in a production support model.
• SAP technology certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with SAP high availability, disaster recovery architecture, and recovery testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate the SAP technical platform roadmap and standards.
• Lead planning and oversight for SAP initiatives, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and business teams to align SAP with requirements.
• Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and opportunities for modernization and automation.
• Lead vendor and MSP engagement with defined scope and performance oversight.
• Provide input for project landscapes, business cases, and investment decisions.
• Drive governance, documentation, and continuous improvement across platform engineering and release planning.
• Communicate strategy, risks, and decisions to IT leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members or partner resources.
