Job summary

Stryker is seeking an SAP Platform Manager to lead the strategy, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of the SAP technical platform. You will manage the platform roadmap, standards, upgrade strategy, and governance to support enterprise capabilities and digital transformation.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, SAP teams, MSPs, and vendors to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure SAP services aligned with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 8+ years of information technology experience.
• 7+ years of SAP technical platform, SAP Basis, or SAP infrastructure experience.
• Experience with at least two SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC implementations, migrations, upgrades, or major technical release events.
• 3+ years of experience managing SAP environments supporting more than 1,000 users.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate the SAP technical platform roadmap and standards.
• Lead planning and execution oversight for SAP initiatives, upgrades, migrations, patching, and decommissioning.
• Align SAP platform capabilities with business, security, compliance, and technology requirements.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging SAP technologies to improve platform effectiveness.
• Lead vendor and MSP engagement, including scope, delivery, and performance management.
• Provide cost, sizing, effort estimation, and technical input for projects and roadmaps.
• Drive process standardization, governance, and continuous improvement across platform teams.
• Communicate platform strategy and risks to IT leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members or partner resources.
