Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Senior SAP Engineer focused on OTC processes to lead production environment management for SAP modules and to drive end-to-end OTC design and integration with legacy systems.

The role requires strong SAP SD expertise, experience across MM and FI-AR, and hands-on work with EDI, IDOCs, RFCs, and ABAP enhancements. It is an onsite role in Cleveland, OH or East Chicago, IN, with travel under 10%.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
5 years SAP SD and working knowledge in other integrated modules like MM, FI-AR.
Experience in a full project lifecycle end to end.
Strong exposure to EDI’s (850, 855, 810, 830 etc.).
Knowledge of RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, User Exits, and enhancement points.
Strong knowledge of outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and flat files.
Broad technical knowledge - including all key SAP functionality and technology.
Expert in IDOC enhancements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Travel is required for less than 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

Be a Functional Lead to manage the production environment for SAP modules employed in the order to cash process.
Responsible for the SAP design of the OTC modules by having a good end-to-end knowledge of the business process and how the legacy applications fit in with SAP.
Ensure knowledge of SAP OTC is current by staying up to date within these areas.
Ensure all new developments conform to SAP standards.
Train end users by conducting knowledge sessions and assisting with user documentation.
Act as a liaison with Business users to gather requirements, design, and deliver technical solutions related to SAP S/4 for Sales and Distribution in relation to Order Management, Pricing, Variant Configuration and EDI.
Work with the technical team in the designing and development of WRICEF, workflows, reports, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, and forms.
Capable of providing overall leadership on larger change requests or projects impacting many SAP disciplines.
Other duties as assigned.
