Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Senior SAP Engineer focused on OTC processes to lead production environment management for SAP modules and to drive end-to-end OTC design and integration with legacy systems.

The role requires strong SAP SD expertise, experience across MM and FI-AR, and hands-on work with EDI, IDOCs, RFCs, and ABAP enhancements. It is an onsite role in Cleveland, OH or East Chicago, IN, with travel under 10%.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years SAP SD and working knowledge in other integrated modules like MM, FI-AR.
• Experience in a full project lifecycle end to end.
• Strong exposure to EDI’s (850, 855, 810, 830 etc.).
• Knowledge of RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, User Exits, and enhancement points.
• Strong knowledge of outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and flat files.
• Broad technical knowledge - including all key SAP functionality and technology.
• Expert in IDOC enhancements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel is required for less than 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Be a Functional Lead to manage the production environment for SAP modules employed in the order to cash process.
• Responsible for the SAP design of the OTC modules by having a good end-to-end knowledge of the business process and how the legacy applications fit in with SAP.
• Ensure knowledge of SAP OTC is current by staying up to date within these areas.
• Ensure all new developments conform to SAP standards.
• Train end users by conducting knowledge sessions and assisting with user documentation.
• Act as a liaison with Business users to gather requirements, design, and deliver technical solutions related to SAP S/4 for Sales and Distribution in relation to Order Management, Pricing, Variant Configuration and EDI.
• Work with the technical team in the designing and development of WRICEF, workflows, reports, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, and forms.
• Capable of providing overall leadership on larger change requests or projects impacting many SAP disciplines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $145,000. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and business or organizational needs.
