Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Senior SAP Engineer – ABAP Development to lead SAP development efforts and ensure alignment with the SAP road map across FI/CO, SD, MM, QM, PP. The role requires strong ABAP skills, WRICEF experience, and hands-on delivery across complex module integrations.

The candidate will write detailed technical specs, guide transports, and coordinate with business users while providing Level 2 production support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in technical development roles.
• Strong ABAP development skills and SAP S/4HANA knowledge.
• Experience with WRICEF development (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Knowledge of FI/CO, SD, MM, QM, PP, PP/DS modules and integration points.
• Familiar with CDS views, ADT tools, BRF+, and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Understand the SAP direction on development practices and road map.
• Ensure modules and integration points align with SAP roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance, review transports, and approve infrastructure changes.
• Write and approve WRICEF specifications for workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
• Coordinate developers and communicate with business users; provide Level 2 production support.
• Coordinate with IT teams to ensure accurate delivery of changes.
