EY is seeking an SAP IS‑U Billing Senior Consultant in the United States. You will design, configure, test and implement SAP IS‑U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility clients, translating complex billing requirements into functional designs.

You’ll work with stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end billing capabilities, including master data, rate structures, and billing cycles, while supporting challenging scenarios and cross‑team coordination. Travel up to 40–60% is expected.

Formación

• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design.
• Experience configuring SAP IS‑U billing schemas, rates, facts, operands, invoicing, and billing‑cycle processes.
• Experience supporting periodic and non‑periodic billing, rebilling, reversals, adjustments, and bill simulation.
• Understanding meter‑to‑cash processes and the dependencies among Billing, Device Management, Energy Data Management, FI‑CA, Customer Service, and connected systems.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scenarios, process flows, and other project documentation.
• Experience executing unit and integration testing and supporting user acceptance testing, regression testing, defect resolution, cutover, and production stabilization.
• Experience working with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Travel flexibility and willingness to meet client needs (40–60%).

Responsabilidades

• Gather requirements for billing across electric, gas, and water utilities, customer classes, and service territories.
• Configure billing schemas, master data, invoicing, and billing cycles.
• Configure periodic and non‑periodic billing, estimates, rebilling, reversals, adjustments, and bill simulation.
• Validate invoicing, billing documents, payment handoffs, and downstream postings with FI‑CA and related systems.
• Analyze billing exceptions and identify root causes involving meter reads, device data, rates, customer data, or system integrations.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration documentation, test scenarios, and process flows.
• Execute unit and integration testing and support UAT, regression testing, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end process impacts across multiple teams.
• Support time‑of‑use and other complex billing scenarios based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and provide knowledge transfer to client teams.
