Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility clients. You will translate billing requirements into functional designs and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities include configuring billing schemas, rates, master data, and invoicing processes, and supporting testing, cutover, and production stabilization. Travel 40-60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with at least 3 years in SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design in a utility environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for electric, gas, and/or water billing across utilities and service territories.
• Configure SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions, including master data, rates, and billing schemas.
• Configure and support billing processes, invoicing, settlement, and downstream postings with FI-CA.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test scenarios, and project deliverables.
• Execute unit and integration testing and support UAT, regression testing, and cutover.
