Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utilities. You will work with stakeholders and technical teams to translate billing requirements into effective functional solutions across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You will gather requirements, configure billing schemas and invoicing processes, support testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least 3 years with SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience configuring SAP IS-U billing schemas, rates, facts, operands, invoicing, and billing-cycle processes.
• Understanding meter-to-cash processes and dependencies among Billing, Device Management, FI-CA, Customer Service, and connected systems.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for clients, translating requirements into functional designs.
• Configure billing and invoicing components, master data, rate structures, and billing controls.
• Support periodic and non-periodic billing, rebilling, reversals, adjustments, and bill simulation.
• Validate invoicing, billing document creation, and downstream postings with FI-CA and related systems.
• Coordinate end-to-end process impacts across multiple workstreams and teams.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration documentation, test scenarios, and business process flows.
• Execute unit and integration tests and support UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Travel 40–60% as needed to meet client requirements.
