The ideal candidate has over 6 years of SAP IS-U Billing experience and is familiar with the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Full lifecycle project experience from design to deployment.

Overview

Seeking a hands-on SAP IS-U Billing Consultant to support an upcoming large-scale utility transformation from design through deployment and post-go-live support. This role requires strong experience in billing configuration, rate design, and working directly with business stakeholders.

Travel

• 2 weeks/month (Tue–Thu) for first 8 months
• Then ~1 week/month through April 2027

Responsibilities

• Lead IS-U Billing design and configuration
• Translate tariffs into billing schemas, operands, and rate steps
• Support TOU, demand, and multi-register billing
• Facilitate workshops, Fit/Gap, and stakeholder discussions
• Create Functional Design Documents
• Support FI-CA integration, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment
• Assist with post-go-live and regulatory updates

Key Skills

• Billing schema, price keys, variant programs
• TOU & demand billing, proration, multi-register setup
• BAdIs and FI-CA integration (basic understanding)

Experience Required

• 6+ years SAP IS-U Billing (BI)
• Full lifecycle project experience (design to go-live)
• Strong utility billing and rate design knowledge
• Experience with electric and/or gas utilities preferred
