The Role

As part of our Professional Services Consulting team DACH, we are looking for candidates with senior German SAP Payroll experience.

As a Senior German Payroll Consultant, you will work with our German clients as well as our delivery center in Granada, Spain. Cross-team collaboration in English is an important part of the role. In the future, there is potential to expand skills within SFSF Employee Central, SF Time, point-to-point integration, and other leading HR systems solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Lead design workshops to capture payroll requirements
2. Analyze client requirements for the PY module
3. Create functional documentation and workbooks
4. Implement customer requirements in SAP HCM PY or SF Employee Central Payroll module (with support from technical consulting teams)
5. Manage data migration, especially for master and payroll data
6. Lead testing cycles (Unit, User Acceptance Test, and Parallel Testing)
7. Coordinate across work streams, e.g., in hybrid SuccessFactors EC and EC Payroll projects
8. Support Sales/Pre-Sales activities during Due Diligence Workshops for payroll with prospects

Requirements

Essential

• Senior knowledge of German Payroll processes, possibly experience as a payroll manager
• Senior SAP payroll configuration skills in German
• Client-focused with a good understanding of client needs
• Positive attitude and ability to collaborate internally and externally across Europe and India
• Fluent in German and English
• Understanding of SAP reporting tools (e.g., ad-hoc query, wage type reporter)
• Knowledge of payroll and post-payroll processes (e.g., B2A manager, posting files to finance)
• Experience working in structured project environments within the software development lifecycle
• Possibly experience in SAP Payroll system maintenance and support

Work Experience

Essential

• Multiple payroll project implementations
• Experience working in virtual, multinational, home-office environments (tools: Teams, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in busy environments
• Proficient in Business English (spoken and written)
• Basic ABAP knowledge
