Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a SAP Senior Software Engineer in the US to lead hands-on ABAP/Fiori/UI5/RAP development and end-to-end SAP solutions across core processes. You will drive architecture, design, testing, and deployment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP development, SAP Fiori/UI5, and RAP.
• Extensive experience with ABAP development technologies, including OData Services, SAP Workflow, IDocs, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, Reports, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements.
• Experience with Web Dynpro ABAP, Floorplan Manager (FPM), Business Objects, CDS Views, and S/4HANA-enabled development capabilities.
• Strong SAP Fiori/UI5 development experience and modern SAP applications delivery.
• Hands-on with SAP S/4HANA, including code remediation and performance optimization.
• Exposure to SAP integration and cloud technologies (PI/PO, BTP, API Management, Integration Suite).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex SAP and integration issues; mentor teams in best practices.

Responsibilities

• The SAP Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and support end-to-end SAP solutions.
• Lead in architecture, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to map requirements and design scalable solutions.
• Translate requirements into detailed technical designs ensuring performance and alignment with standards.
• Provide development estimates and deliver using Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Mentor junior developers and promote AI-enabled development practices.
