Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior SAP architect to own the technical architecture for SAP custom development and extensibility, defining Clean Core strategy and three-tier extensibility. You will lead SAP development using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Generative AI Hub while guiding global teams in architecture sign-offs and client workshops.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with S/4HANA ABAP, BTP, data modeling, and a track record in technical leadership and consulting.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years experience developing SAP applications using S/4HANA ABAP and ABAP Cloud.
Minimum of 5 years experience with SAP BTP tools and services.
Minimum of 4 years experience with data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related.
Minimum of 4 years SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side approaches.
Minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership role.
Prior experience in Chemicals & Natural Resources industry/clients.
Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.

Responsibilities

Own the technical architecture for SAP custom development and extensibility with Clean Core strategy.
Lead modern SAP development using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, Generative AI Hub, and SAP AI.
Govern transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; manage remediation and API adoption.
Plan architecture/design workshops; conduct code reviews and sign-offs across global teams.
Support pursuits, estimation, solution shaping; present to client architects and executives.
