Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned SAP architect to define the Clean Core strategy and lead modern SAP development across ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, and BTP. You will oversee architectural governance, code reviews, and workshops for global delivery teams while advising senior client stakeholders on strategic direction.

You will engage with cross-functional teams to shape solutions, drive upgrades, and ensure delivery excellence in client engagements across industries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of SAP application development experience (S/4HANA ABAP, ABAP Cloud).
• Minimum 5 years with SAP BTP tools and services (latest stack).
• Minimum 4 years data modeling with CDS views/AMDP/OData or similar.
• Minimum 4 years SAP custom development using Clean Core and BTP side-by-side, including RAP.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, architecture sign-offs).
• Experience with Chemicals & Natural Resources industries is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 12+ years work exp, or 6+ years with Associates.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for SAP custom development and extensibility across platforms.
• Provide leadership on modern SAP development using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and GenAI Hub.
• Lead transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; govern code remediation and upgrades.
• Plan architecture/design workshops; conduct reviews and sign-offs with global teams.
• Support pursuits, estimation, and solution shaping; present to client architects and executives.
