Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Sr. SAP Application Developer to design, build, and deliver SAP solutions across S/4HANA and SAP BTP for the Retail Spine program. You will work with SAP platform engineers, tech leads, and vendors to implement secure, scalable extensions and API-based integrations.

Focus on Clean Core alignment, AI-assisted development, and rigorous transport governance across agile and hybrid delivery models. This role is based in Salisbury, NC, with hybrid work options.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of SAP application development experience, including ABAP, Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, and integration technologies.
• Hands-on with SAP S/4HANA development, BTP, CPI, CDS views, RAP model, OData services, and SAP extensibility patterns.
• Strong understanding of Clean Core principles and SAP customization practices.
• Experience working with Systems Integrators and multi-vendor delivery teams.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD in SAP environments.
• Strong communication and technical leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and deliver SAP solutions across S/4HANA and SAP BTP in line with Retail Spine objectives.
• Enforce Clean Core extensibility standards and SAP-approved patterns (BAdIs, released APIs, RAP, side-by-side BTP extensions).
• Define development taxonomy and scope across ABAP, Fiori/UI5, BTP services, workflow, and cloud-native components.
• Adopt API-first design with OData, REST, CPI, and event-driven integration.
• Monitor SI-delivered work for architecture, security, and performance; participate in reviews and transport governance.
• Collaborate with SAP Solution Architects and Basis teams to align with RISE with SAP and long-term modernization.
• Oversee full development lifecycle, including testing, DevSecOps, release readiness, and Agile/hybrid delivery.
