Job summary

SAP is seeking a Senior SAP Technical Consultant to join the Global Cloud Operation – ECS North America. You will lead technical discussions, own customer landscapes, and coordinate experts to deliver high-quality, scalable SAP ECS services across S/4HANA and cloud integrations.

The role requires extensive SAP Basis and technical consulting experience, with strong architecture and project-management skills in a cloud-enabled environment. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management.
• Strong SAP product and industry solution knowledge.
• Proven technical project management and customer-facing experience.
• Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent engagement, relationship-building, and de-escalation skills.
• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of SAP solutions, releases, and platform interdependencies.
• Knowledge of SAP cloud operations in a multi-cloud environment.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites on short notice.
• 8+ years SAP Basis administration experience.
• 8+ years SAP Technical Consulting experience.
• 8+ years in design/architecture or SAP implementation.
• 4+ years in technical project management for SAP operations or implementations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical and delivery advisor for SAP ECS engagements.
• Own customer landscape and coordinate cross-team expertise for complex changes.
• Collaborate with ECS delivery and SAP services to execute service delivery plans.
• Analyze customer requirements and drive topic resolution with ECS delivery teams.
• Present SAP private offering details and engagement models to stakeholders.
• Support cloud roadmaps covering infrastructure, security, and integration.
• Guide customers on business continuity, security, networks and compliance.
• Conduct monthly technical and operational reviews to track progress.
• Assist migrations with partners and SAP Professional Services.
