Job summary

SAP is seeking a Senior SAP Technical Consultant within the Global Cloud Operations (GCO) team. You will deliver high-quality results as part of ECS, driving S/4HANA adoption and cloud transition for customers.

The role involves acting as a trusted technical advisor, orchestrating experts, and guiding on security, continuity, and integration across SAP stacks. The position is customer-facing within the ECS North America regional team, with travel as needed and close collaboration with delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management.
• High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions.
• Strong technical project management skills & customer-facing experience.
• Strong ability to translate between technical and non-technical audience with confidence.
• Strong engagement management, relationship building and de-escalation skills.
• Excellent presentation, communication and moderator skills.
• Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.).
• Good understanding of operational aspects (Application or Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
• Good understanding of capabilities of at least one Hyperscale Cloud (AWS, MS Azure or GCP).
• Willingness to undertake customer-related travel on short notice.
• 8+ years of experience with SAP Basis administrative duties REQUIRED.
• 8+ years of customer-facing SAP Technical Consulting experience.
• 8+ years of solution design, enterprise architecture, and/or SAP implementation.
• 4+ years’ experience in technical project management for SAP Operations or Implementation

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical & Delivery advisor in safeguarding SAP ECS customer investments.
• Own the customer landscape and advise on complex landscape changes.
• Coordinate experts from ECS Delivery to address topics to resolution.
• Support the migration roadmap with Partners and SAP Professional Services.
• Conduct monthly Technical & operational reviews to measure progress against the cloud roadmap.
• Present the intricacies of the private offering and engagement model to stakeholders.
• Guide customers on technical aspects like Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, Networks.
• Assess customer security and network requirements to align with SAP security framework.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across ECS and SAP delivery organizations.
