NY STATE ELECTRIC & GAS CORP is seeking a seasoned SAP specialist to analyze and document business requirements, develop SAP-based solutions, and coordinate changes with IT and vendors. This role emphasizes delivering reliable system alterations with strong project management.

You will lead system administration tasks, upgrades, reporting, and testing, acting as a mentor and liaison to business units, Rates and Regulatory teams, and Client Fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP in billing/front office/financial accounting environments.
• Ability to lead SAP system enhancements and mentor junior team members.
• Strong communication with business owners, IT, and system vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as expert in Billing, front office, financial accounting, retail access, and device management with focus on SAP and reporting tools.
• Develop and implement SAP solutions to meet evolving business requirements from Rates & Regulatory departments and Avangrid Networks.
• Perform system administration tasks including upgrades, debugging, reporting, issue resolution, and regulatory/compliance controls.
