Job summary

Accenture is seeking an SAP Basis Manager to lead transformation projects and govern SAP Basis operations across S/4HANA, HANA on Azure, and BTP platforms. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years SAP Basis experience with 2 full S/4HANA cycles in lead/co-lead role.
• At least 3 years SAP HANA DBA on cloud infrastructure with high availability.
• 2+ years in designing SAP HA/DR in Azure or similar environments.
• 2+ years managing multi-track transport landscapes and releases.
• Experience leading small-to-mid Basis teams (3–8).
• Bonus: SAP certification in technology or S/4HANA administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Basis workstreams across S/4HANA Greenfield and brownfield projects; own design and go-live readiness.
• Architect and govern SAP HANA on Azure or similar infrastructure with tuning and backup design.
• Drive HA/DR implementation and validate failover readiness pre-go-live.
• Own transport governance and CTS+/ChaRM workflows; align with CI/CD pipelines.
• Serve as primary Basis escalation point during hypercare and AMS steady state.
• Lead and develop a team of Basis consultants; mentor and transfer knowledge.
• Engage technical leads and PMs; provide landscape status and risk flags; travel as needed.
