Job summary

Accenture in the United States is seeking an SAP Basis Manager to lead Basis workstreams on S/4HANA Greenfield/Brownfield, HANA on Azure, and BTP extension. You will design technical landscapes, govern HA/DR, manage transport governance, and mentor a 3–8 person Basis team while engaging client technical leads.

This role requires 5+ years in SAP Basis, 2+ years in SAP HANA on cloud, and strong leadership, with travel up to 100%. Role located in California, USA.

• 5+ years SAP Basis experience including S/4HANA
• 3+ years SAP HANA DB Admin on cloud
• 2+ years SAP HA/DR on Azure
• 2+ years transport and release governance
• Leads Basis teams (3–8 people)
• Experience with CMT industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• SAP certification bonus points
• SAP BTP platform operations
• RISE and BTP shared responsibility familiarity
• IDoc/ALE operations exposure
• ITSM integration experience
• SLO/SNP/SLT tooling familiarity
• Scripting: Python, Shell, PowerShell
• Functional knowledge FI/CO/MM/SD/PP/QM

Responsibilities

• Lead Basis workstream delivery across S/4HANA Greenfield, Brownfield, BTP extension and AMS engagements
• Architect and govern SAP HANA on Azure environments
• Drive HA/DR implementation and validate failover readiness
• Own transport governance and release calendars; integrate with CI/CD
• Serve as primary Basis escalation point during hypercare and AMS steady state
• Lead and develop a Basis team across project and AMS delivery
• Engage client stakeholders at technical lead and PM level
• Travel may be required (0–100%)
