Job summary

Accenture is seeking an SAP Basis Manager to lead delivery on SAP transformation projects, including S/4HANA Greenfield/Brownfield, HANA on Azure, and BTP operations. You will own technical landscape design, cutover planning, and go-live readiness, while guiding a team of Basis consultants and coordinating with AMS delivery teams.

You will work with client stakeholders, manage escalations, and drive platform readiness across projects with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis experience, with lead or co-lead in S/4HANA implementations or Brownfield conversions.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP HANA database administration on cloud infrastructure, including memory, backup, and performance tuning.
• Minimum 2 years designing and implementing SAP HA/DR solutions in Azure or similar cloud environments.
• Minimum 2 years managing transport landscapes and release governance across multi-system projects.
• Experience leading small-to-medium Basis teams (3–8 people) across project/AMS delivery.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; if Associate's degree, 6 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Basis workstream delivery across S/4HANA Greenfield, Brownfield, BTP extension, and AMS engagements.
• Architect and govern SAP HANA environments on Azure or equivalent hyperscaler infrastructure.
• Drive high-availability and disaster recovery implementations and validate failover readiness.
• Own transport and release governance, CTS+/ChaRM workflows, and CI/CD integration where applicable.
• Act as primary Basis escalation point for P1/P2 incidents during hypercare and steady state.
• Lead and develop a team of Basis consultants and coordinate knowledge transfers.
• Engage client stakeholders with landscape status updates and risk flags.
