Job summary

Accenture seeks an SAP Basis Manager to lead Basis workstreams on SAP transformation projects, including S/4HANA on Azure and BTP extensions. You will design landscape, plan cutovers, and oversee go-live readiness from a platform perspective.

You will guide SAP HANA environments, ensure high availability, manage transport governance, and coordinate with AMS delivery and client teams. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP Basis experience with lead/co-lead on S/4HANA transformations.
• 3+ years of SAP HANA DB admin on cloud infrastructure; memory, HSR, backup, performance tuning.
• 2+ years designing and implementing SAP HA/DR on Azure or similar hyperscalers.
• 2+ years managing transport landscapes and release governance across multi-system projects.
• Experience leading small-to-medium Basis teams (3–8).
• Experience with client-facing roles at tech/industry clients.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 12 years of work experience if no Bachelors.

Responsibilities

• Lead Basis workstream delivery across S/4HANA Greenfield, Brownfield and AMS engagements.
• Architect and govern SAP HANA DB environments on Azure or equivalent infra.
• Drive high-availability and DR implementations; validate failover readiness.
• Own transport/release governance; integrate with CI/CD pipelines where DevOps is in scope.
• Serve as primary Basis escalation point during hypercare and steady state.
• Lead and develop a team of Basis consultants across projects.
• Engage client stakeholders with landscape status, risk flags, and readiness assessments.
