Job summary

Accenture seeks an SAP Basis Manager to lead Basis workstreams on SAP transformation programs, govern HANA on Azure, and drive cutover readiness and platform design. You will guide architecture, release governance, and incident response while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with AMS teams.

Travel may be required; the role spans multi-system environments, with emphasis on S/4HANA, BTP operations, and cross-functional collaboration with client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in SAP Basis with lead or co-lead roles.
• 2+ full cycles of S/4HANA implementations or Brownfield in leadership.
• 3+ years SAP HANA DB admin on cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead Basis workstream delivery across S/4HANA projects and AMS engagements.
• Architect and govern SAP HANA on Azure or equivalent infra.
• Drive HA/DR implementation and validation pre go-live.
• Own transport/go-live governance and CI/CD integration.
• Lead Basis escalation during hypercare and steady state.
• Develop and mentor a Basis team of 3–8 engineers.
• Engage technical stakeholders with landscape status and risk flags.
