Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Salesforce Architect to guide enterprise-level technology direction and shape major Salesforce initiatives across multiple teams. You will mentor engineers, define scalable integration patterns, and align technical decisions with business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 12+ years of experience, expert Salesforce knowledge, and the ability to influence without direct authority while advancing security, reliability, and platform modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience in Salesforce clouds.
• Expert in leading design reviews and establishing standards.
• Expert in Salesforce initiatives and platform security framework.
• Deep knowledge of Lightning Web Components, Aura, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs, integration patterns, and Git workflows.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile; SAFe is a plus.
• Ability to influence enterprise decisions without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and influence enterprise-level solution designs and long-term technology direction.
• Guide technical direction for Salesforce initiatives and services across teams.
• Mentor engineers and connect decisions to enterprise outcomes and cost.
• Define reusable integration patterns and drive OpenAPI specs and testing.
• Lead cross-team efforts, resolve blockers, and govern security and reliability.
• Drive platform modernization, debt strategy, and governance across domains.
