Job summary

GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation in the United States seeks a Principal Software Engineer to define enterprise-level solution designs, governance standards, and long-term technology direction across platforms. You will work with leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions.

You will mentor engineers, influence architecture and API strategies, and collaborate with product, risk, and delivery teams to balance performance, cost, and business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information systems or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering, with Salesforce Sales/Service/Experience Cloud experience.
• Expert-level in Salesforce architecture, security, and design reviews.
• Proven ability to define enterprise standards and govern multi-platform solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Lightning Web Components, Aura, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APEX, SOQL/SOSL.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term technical direction and enterprise patterns across platforms.
• Lead API strategy, data movement, and integration using OpenAPI and best practices.
• Ensure security, reliability, observability, and governance across critical systems.
• Mentor engineers, review designs, and align engineering with enterprise goals.
• Drive AI-native engineering patterns and CI/CD adoption in software delivery.
