Job summary

Coastal in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to own end-to-end technical strategy for Salesforce-centric enterprise solutions and SaaS integrations.

You will lead discovery sessions, craft scalable cross-cloud architectures, and guide delivery teams toward operational excellence. This senior role involves presales solutioning, mentoring, and defining best practices for client success—onsite at the client's location in Austin.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing Salesforce-centric enterprise solutions.
• 3+ years in a Senior Solution Architect/Lead Architect role leading multi-cloud implementations.
• Experience implementing Salesforce PRM (Partner Relationship Management).
• Applied knowledge of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Marketing functions.
• Must have Salesforce/System Architect track credentials; minimum 5–6x certified.

Responsibilities

• Own the overarching technical design for enterprise-grade solutions across Salesforce and integrated SaaS/ERP platforms.
• Architect and design Partner Relationship Management product.
• Deliver technical and non-technical documentation with architecture diagrams (data models, high-level architecture, integration).
• Responsible for overall solution design, build task estimation, and oversight of dashboards and UAT.
• Evaluate declaratives vs. custom programmatic solutions (Apex, LWC) and AppExchange products.
• Perform Salesforce administration/configuration/data migration duties as needed.
• Collaborate with Coastal team members and client stakeholders for customer success.
• Act as a solution SME, aiding scope of sales proposals with Delivery leadership and Account Executives.
• Partner with Project Managers to foster collaboration across delivery and client teams.
• Mentor Coastal team members and pursue ongoing professional growth.
• Maintain Salesforce technical certifications and partner certifications to support delivery.
