Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance and Technology to design scalable Salesforce-based processes that enable growth and improve internal user experience.

You will translate business needs into technical solutions, drive discovery, and maintain documentation while supporting GTM workflows and data quality across the system landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems/Business/Systems Analyst.
• Practical Salesforce Sales Cloud support experience.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance and CRM teams.
• Strong business process analysis and requirements management.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with leaders to understand goals, challenges and business needs.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements workshops for improvements.
• Translate needs into functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Liaise between business collaborators and technical teams throughout projects.
• Analyze current processes and design scalable workflows for GTM and data quality.
• Collaborate with Salesforce admins, developers, architects, product, and PMs.
• Support Salesforce Sales Cloud enhancements, automation, security, reporting, data mgmt.
• Evaluate options balancing requirements, UX, scalability and maintainability.
• Document GTM workflows and Salesforce functionality.
• Write user stories with acceptance criteria and support UAT and releases.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline workflows and governance.
