Parexel is seeking a Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst to ensure Salesforce solutions are accurate, tested, and production-ready. You will translate business needs into clear requirements, validate enhancements, and maintain reliable releases across sprints.

You will collaborate with analysts, developers, admins, and stakeholders, working within Agile methodologies to support from requirements through deployment and provide ongoing process improvements in a fast-paced clinical development

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with focus on business analysis, system and integration testing.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and business processes, and of Salesforce security.
• Knowledge of full sales cycle from lead generation to contract lifecycle, including work orders and scope changes.
• Ability to administer Sales Cloud: security, configuration (Flow, approvals, validation rules, Lightning pages), reports, dashboards, and data management (Data Loader/Workbench).
• Proficiency in creating/executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts; experience with automated Salesforce testing tools (Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing).
• Familiarity with API testing tools/techniques.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Microsoft Excel skills for data cleaning/manipulation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in shifts from 12 to 9 PM IST and support weekend releases.

• Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive system test cases for Salesforce enhancements; perform regression testing; test integrations; maintain artifacts; run end-to-end smoke tests during weekend sprint releases every three weeks.
• Business Analysis: Gather requirements with stakeholders and document as user stories; create Visio flows documenting processes and functionality.
• Salesforce Configuration: Administer declarative solutions to support sprint work and production issue resolution.

• Customer Support: Demonstrate new enhancements to stakeholders and support UAT, including test data creation and training.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze bugs, perform root cause analysis, stay current on Salesforce releases; suggest improvements; mentor juniors.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst, you will ensure that the Salesforce solutions our teams rely on are accurate, thoroughly tested, and ready for change. Your work supports the systems that help us manage client relationships, proposals, and contracts, which make it possible to deliver clinical research that advances new treatments for patients. This position plays a key role in translating business needs into clear requirements, validating every enhancement before it reaches production, and keeping releases reliable across the sprint cycle.

You will collaborate with business analysts, developers, administrators, and business stakeholders, work within Agile methodologies, and contribute from requirements through deployment. Responsibilities include business analysis, system and integration testing, Salesforce configuration, stakeholder support, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to deepen your expertise and influence how Salesforce supports our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive system test cases for Salesforce enhancements, including managed packages and connected solutions. Perform regression testing, test integrations with other enterprise systems, maintain testing artifacts, and run end-to-end smoke testing during weekend sprint release deployments, which occur once every three weeks

• Business Analysis: Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and document them as user stories in collaboration with business analysts. Create Visio flows that document new and existing business processes and functionality

• Salesforce Configuration: Administer a range of declarative solutions to support sprint work and resolve production issues when needed

• Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Translate requirements into effective test scenarios, identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle, and work with the development and administration team to resolve issues in a timely way. Take part in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives

• Customer Support: Provide demos of new enhancements to business stakeholders and support them through user acceptance testing, including test data creation and training

• Continuous Improvement: Analyze bugs, perform root cause analysis, and document results. Stay current on Salesforce releases and assess their impact on existing systems and tests. Proactively suggest improvements to testing processes and tools, and mentor junior team members in Salesforce testing practices and methodologies
