Job summary

Parexel seeks a Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst to ensure Salesforce solutions are accurate, tested, and ready for change. You will translate business needs into clear requirements, validate enhancements, and ensure reliable releases across sprints.

You’ll collaborate with analysts, developers, admins, and stakeholders within Agile teams, focusing on QA, integration testing, and customer support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification required.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with a strong focus on business analysis, system and integration testing.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and business processes, and Salesforce security.
• Knowledge of the full sales cycle, from lead generation through contract lifecycle, including work orders and changes in scope.
• Ability to administer all aspects of Sales Cloud, including security and access, configuration, reports, dashboards, and data management.
• Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts; experience with automated testing tools for Salesforce (Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing).
• Familiarity with API testing tools and techniques.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate data effectively.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in shifts (12–9 PM IST) and support weekend releases.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: design, develop, and execute Salesforce test cases; perform regression testing and smoke testing during weekend sprint releases every three weeks.
• Business Analysis: gather requirements and document as user stories; create Visio flows of business processes.
• Salesforce Configuration: administer declarative solutions to support sprint work and resolve issues.
• Collaboration: translate requirements into test scenarios and track defects; participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Customer Support: demo enhancements to stakeholders and support user acceptance testing.
• Continuous Improvement: analyze bugs, perform root-cause analysis, monitor Salesforce releases, and mentor junior team members.
