Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst to translate business needs into Salesforce solutions that support client relationships, proposals, and contracts in clinical development. You will gather requirements, design declarative solutions, and drive UAT and change management in an Agile context.

You’ll collaborate with project managers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to optimize Salesforce usage and roll out improvements that impact patient-focused clinical research

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification required.
• 5+ years of Salesforce experience focused on business analysis and solution design.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security model and best practices.
• Experience with Salesforce declarative tools and Agile methodologies (Jira).
• Experience delivering Salesforce projects from conception to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document detailed business requirements; create user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Design Salesforce solutions and evaluate third‑party apps to meet objectives.
• Support UAT plans, data, training, and demos; address issues with development teams.
• Administer declarative Salesforce configurations to support sprint work.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and adoption.
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, and QA; manage stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and execute change management strategies; create training materials.
