The role spans both functional and technical duties—eliciting requirements, designing solutions, declarative config, and coded development (Apex/LWC). Senior-level autonomy is expected across BA and development tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce experience spanning both functional/business-analysis work and hands-on development — genuine dual-track experience
• Salesforce Administrator certification required, Platform Developer I certification required
• Expert-level Flow Builder proficiency, including bulkification and sound Flow-vs-Apex decision-making
• Strong Apex fundamentals: trigger frameworks, asynchronous Apex, governor limit management
• Proven Lightning Web Components experience
• Demonstrated integrations experience — REST/SOAP, middleware/iPaaS, or event-driven architecture
• Experience supporting multiple business units in a shared, complex org
• Solid grasp of the Salesforce security model at enterprise scale
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines
• Strong requirements-gathering and documentation skills for stakeholder workshops and design reviews

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders across departments to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs for developer handoff
• Facilitate requirements workshops, gap analyses, and current/future-state process mapping
• Own the backlog for Salesforce enhancements with project/product owner
• Decide when to use declarative flows vs Apex/integrations based on best practices
• Plan and execute UAT with business users and manage defect triage
• Maintain traceability between requirements, configurations, and release notes
• Lead upgrades, releases, and projects involving Salesforce
• Administer day-to-day Salesforce issues: users, roles, sharing, data governance
• Design and maintain Flow automation (Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows)
• Migrate legacy automation to Flow and avoid conflicts
• Manage object model changes with proper change control
• Coordinate with integration teams on API/data flow and monitor failures
• Maintain a clean data model and governance to prevent org sprawl
• Oversee sandbox strategy and deployment coordination
• Monitor org health: API usage, storage, and technical debt
