Job summary

Blue5Green is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, implement, test, and support enterprise Salesforce solutions in collaboration with BAs, Tech Leads, architects, QA, and stakeholders.

You will own complex development tasks, drive technical decisions, and mentor junior developers while ensuring high-quality, scalable and secure Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds and integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, security, sharing, data modeling, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Flows and modern Salesforce development practices.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and JSON/XML payloads.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification preferred.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other industry clouds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, and SOQL/SOSL.
• Translate requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
• Develop bulk-safe, scalable Apex within governor limits.
• Build Lightning Web Components and modern Salesforce UX.
• Develop and support REST/SOAP integrations and JSON/XML payloads.
• Implement asynchronous processing (Queueable, Batch, Future, Platform Events).
• Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot defects and production issues, perform root-cause analysis.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies; estimate, sprint, demos, releases.

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise Salesforce solutions while working closely with Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Architects, QA, and stakeholders. The Senior Developer is expected to take ownership of complex development tasks, contribute to technical decisions, and communicate effectively across the delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and related platform capabilities.
• Translate approved functional and technical requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
• Develop bulk-safe, scalable, and high-performing Apex aligned with Salesforce governor limits.
• Build Lightning Web Components and modern Salesforce user experiences.
• Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, JSON/XML, and appropriate integration patterns.
• Implement asynchronous processing using Queueable Apex, Batch Apex, Future methods, and Platform Events where appropriate.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce agreed engineering standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues, including root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain unit tests and ensure deployment readiness and code quality.
• Support CI/CD and Git-based deployment processes across Salesforce environments.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, estimation, sprint execution, demos, and release activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
