Job summary

Covenant HR is recruiting a Technical Salesforce Business Analyst for a remote US-based contract (6-12 months with potential for renewal). The role focuses on declarative-first Salesforce solutions, Flow orchestration, and enterprise-scale automation across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Health Cloud.

You will partner with business stakeholders, lead Salesforce initiatives, reduce technical debt, and mentor team members without direct management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Salesforce configuration experience with a strong focus on Flow and enterprise-scale automation.
• Proven ability to operate as a platform lead with broad Salesforce ecosystem knowledge beyond development.
• Salesforce Administrator certification required; architecture-level certifications highly preferred.
• Strong Apex development skills to support complex logic when declarative solutions are insufficient.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with a curious, problem-solving approach to platform design and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior individual contributor and platform lead for Salesforce initiatives across the organization.
• Design and implement scalable solutions using a declarative-first approach (Flow, configuration over code).
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
• Oversee platform stewardship, ensuring stability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Modernize and refactor legacy automation including Workflow Rules and Process Builder into Flow.
• Reduce technical debt and improve overall system performance and usability.
• Work across multiple Salesforce clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Health Cloud.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members without direct management responsibilities.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for Salesforce platform evolution.
• Balance configuration and development work (approximately 80% configuration, 20% Apex).
• Promote thoughtful solution design and avoid unnecessary custom code.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
