Job summary

Navan is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Engineer specializing in Salesforce CPQ in New York. You will architect, configure, and support scalable CPQ solutions to enable accurate product configuration, pricing, discounts, approvals, and quote generation.

The role partners with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into effective CPQ solutions. You will own CPQ enhancements end-to-end and drive deployment and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce, including significant hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, developing, and supporting Salesforce CPQ solutions.
• Strong knowledge of the Salesforce CPQ object model, product configuration, rules, price rules, discounts, bundles, approvals, and templates.
• Experience with Salesforce Advanced Approvals.
• Proficiency with Salesforce technologies (Flow, Apex, SOQL, LWC) and security concepts.
• Experience managing Salesforce deployments through development, testing, source control, and release practices.
• Salesforce CPQ certification or relevant Salesforce certifications.
• Experience supporting complex product catalogs, pricing models, discounting structures, and approval processes.
• Experience in a high-growth or rapidly changing environment.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools, Git, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions for product configuration, pricing, discounts, approvals, and quotes.
• Develop scalable CPQ solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow, and Visualforce as appropriate.
• Configure CPQ features including rules, price rules, bundles, and Advanced Approvals.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable CPQ solutions that drive revenue growth.
• Own CPQ enhancements from design through testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot CPQ issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Maintain performance, data integrity, security, and usability within Salesforce CPQ.
• Support release management and deployments using Salesforce tools and source control.
• Create and maintain technical and design documentation.
• Collaborate with teams owning adjacent Salesforce capabilities and enterprise systems.
