Remote-based role based in the US. Candidates must be physically located within the US.

Job Description

As a Senior Sales Trainer, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive sales training programs that enhance the skills and performance of our sales team. This role requires a deep understanding of sales processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others.

Responsibilities:

  1. Training Facilitation: Conduct training programs for Sales, focusing on enhancing product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement.
  2. Sales Preparation: Ensure sales teams are well-prepared to effectively communicate product features, benefits, value, and data to potential customers.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Solutions, and Sales teams to align training content with product strategies and compliance requirements.
  4. LMS Management: Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) to efficiently deliver training content and ensure seamless integration of training materials and assessments.
  5. Resource Development: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create and maintain learning tools, playbooks, and resources.
  6. Digital Platform Training: Train sales representatives on the effective use of digital platforms, CRM systems, and presentation materials.
  7. Support Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new sales team members, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in their roles.
Qualifications
  1. Proven Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales training or a related field.
  2. Sales Expertise: In-depth knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Presentation Skills: Strong ability to deliver engaging and effective presentations.
  5. Coaching Skills: Ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching to sales team members.
  6. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.
  7. Adaptability: Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and environments.
  8. Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using training software and tools.
  9. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  10. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in Curriculum Development/Systemic Design.
  2. Expertise in Instructional Design/Strategies.
  3. Proven track record in Sales Skills Development.
  4. Knowledge of Organizational Development/Change Management.
  5. Ability to conduct Needs Assessments.
  6. Skills in Process Improvement & Performance Metrics.
  7. Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  8. Ability to implement Best Practices.
  9. Experience working on global teams and training across regions.
  10. Knowledge and experience in the CPG industry or consumer data and analytics.
Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $92,000 - $140,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
