Job summary

Pasona Inc. in Itasca, IL is seeking a Sales Operations professional to generate quotations, manage inventory, and coordinate cross-functional projects. This role requires regular travel and a 9:00am-5:30pm workday with core time from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

You will review quotations, oversee stock orders, and support launch activities for new and ongoing projects while managing AR/AP and sales budgeting. A BA/BS and 3–5 years in Sales are required, with fluent Japanese and business English.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Business/Marketing/Supply Chain/Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Sales or related industry.
• Speaks Japanese at idiomatic level and English at business level.

Responsibilities

• Generate quotations to customers and suppliers.
• Inventory management and forecast analysis; review stock levels and forecast fluctuations.
• Review and approval of quotations, stock orders and sales related documents.
• Handle delivery and quality issues.
• Lead launch activities and mass production follow up for projects (RFQ, PPAP/PDS, Tooling stock build plan).
• Management of accounts receivable, accounts payable and slow-moving stocks.
• Monitor sales, profits, freight expenses and creation of sales budget.
• Daily management of Sales team activities and performance.
• Development and expansion of new business with current and new customers; regular customer and supplier visitation.

Salary Range: $70,000~$85,000/year+bonus

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• BA or BS in Business/Marketing/Supply Chain/Engineering or Related Field
• 3~5 years’ experience in Sales or related industry.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
