Job summary

City National Bank’s Private Bank & Wealth Management division seeks a Senior Analyst to support Sales Performance Analytics and Incentives. You will analyze sales performance, build dashboards, and assist with incentive plan administration, partnering with leadership to deliver timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial or sales analysis experience
• 2+ years of sales performance reporting and/or compensation analytics experience (preferred 3+ years)
• 3+ years of advanced Excel experience (complex formulas, macros, PivotTables)
• 1+ years working with SQL or other advanced database query tools (SQL, Snowflake, Python, or Alteryx preferred)
• Experience running or supporting incentive compensation plans or sales compensation programs is a strong plus
• Banking or financial services industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to measure sales performance, productivity, and profitability across business units and client-facing roles
• Integrate and validate data from multiple systems (CRM, financial platforms, etc.) to create coherent datasets for analysis
• Produce routine performance reports, scorecards, and ad hoc analyses for division leadership, regional managers, and individual contributors
• Analyze trends, identify discrepancies, and research root causes; recommend solutions to management
• Assist in creating and maintaining performance management reporting at division and regional levels
• Support the Manager in designing new reports and refining existing ones based on stakeholder feedback
